I'm Cath MacAulay, the Family Whanau Service Co-ordinator. As many family members already know, I have been around for quite a while. In fact, I started working for the Schizophrenia Fellowship in May 1998 as field worker for Porirua and Kapiti. In those days we were based in the house at 121 Abel Smith St. I have really enjoyed the past 10 years working in the Family Whanau Support Service and I am really proud to lead a team of enthusiastic workers dedicated to the tasks of giving information, support, education and advocacy to family and whanau of those with experience of mental illness.
